From what I've heard and seen, the 70's & 80's rifles were the best of the bunch. I like the smooth stocked early versions, like both of my rifles.

None of them are marked XTR. They were all purchased new in the 70's. Two are 22LR and one is 22 magnum. The two 22LR's are not checkered. The 22 magnum is checkered and marked 9422M.
