In order to fully release the tension keeping it in gear or get the gears to mesh going in, you want to be moving 1-3 mph in either direction when ever you shift in or out. Always try to shift out of 4x4 low on before getting on a hard surface, especially turning.The transmission did not start out in 1st felt and remained stuck in what felt like 3rd or 4th.
