I have had 7 MKIII's I think, maybe 8, anyway Im down to my 2 most modified guns, a 6 7/8 inch Hunter and a 5.5 standard bull. Both have ALL the VQ upgrades, both are scary accurate. The weapon combo is OK. Usually I'd recommend fixed lasers but the Cobra's small harpoint placement is so goddamn bad that gimbals are just better. The small hardpoint placement on the cobra isn't great - they're underneath at the back at the far edges. You are probably better splitting left/right instead of top/bottom.
