Wellspring for the patterns. For the special ability, you have to fully charge the Glaive, which means you need to shoot enemies until the bar below your reticle is full. I can confirm. Pattern dropped in normal Wellspring and not on the character that the glaive was for (Titan glaive pattern dropped on warlock). The drop rate is ridiculously low. Bungie should have made it a quest for all 3 glaives. Also, you don't have to be on a specific character for the patterns to drop (i.e. Titan glaive pattern can drop while running Warlock). Not sure if you've had any drop so far, but I had to do 95 wellsprings to get the 2 glaive patterns I didn't get from the quest to drop.
